I can tell you that the address is what getpeername() returns,
although the write to the socket has already failed by the time 
that getpeername() gets called.

The /etc/hosts files is up to date on all nodes.  Maybe this is
localhost?  I do have a process that talks a lot to slurm running on the
same node.
