Dear Group,
is there any limit on the size of lines in slurm.conf (or is it possible to
break lines with the \ char?)

The rationale for this question is that we are looking a partition of large
numbers of machines with non-sequential names/numbers, and are wondering if
this would cause an issue with slurm. e.g. a line of
PartitionName=Test Nodes=<uniquename1>,<uniquename2>......<uniquenameN>

One option is to create aliases in the OS hosts file, so that we can use
the sequential bracketing in Slurm, but I was wondering if there is a
slurm-only solution before doing this.

regards
