Hi Simon, Breaking lines with '\' works fine. I have several partition definitions of that type:
PartitionName=normal \
Default=YES \
DefaultTime=2:0:0 MaxTime=7-0:0:0 \
DefMemPerCPU=4000 MaxMemPerCPU=4096 \
AllowQos=normal,long,system \
Nodes=sh-1-[1-12],sh-2-[1-36],sh-3-[1-36],sh-5-[1-32]
