Hi, I want to try SLURM on my Rocks based cluster. So this is a first try and I want to ask some questions prior to installing that.
Our cluster has 4 compute nodes and a head node. The head node is also capable to run jobs. In other words, the user can select the head node as a compute node. Thing is that /share on the head node can be accessed from compute nodes. This is the only shared folder. Now, should I install SLURM on /share or other local folders (e.g. /opt or /usr).
