Sekitar Pkl 20.30 hari minggu tanggal 12 November lalu, Budi naik motor bersama istrinya dengan kecepatan 40 km/jam, berada di jalur tengah Jl. Daan Mogot menuju arah Tangerang. Dia telah melihat mobil CRV Coklat Emas No Pol B 8539 BZ keluar dari komplek Budi Indah. Dia sudah membunyikan klakson beberapa kali, tapi kelihatannya CRV itu tetap memotong jalan, sehingga Budi menghindar pindah ke jalur paling kanan, tapi CRV itu malah ambil ke jalur kanan juga, tabrakan tidak dapat dihindari. Motor Budi ketarik oleh bumper depan CRV itu sehingga bumpernya copot bersama dengan plat mobil, dan plat mobilnya sekarang dia simpan. Setelah dicari, pemilik mobil itu bernama TJHIA HIDAYAT SETIAWAN beralamat Jl. i Kramat Tambora. Tanah Sereal Jakarta11210. Tidak diketahui siapa yang mengendari mobil saat itu, karena mobil itu KABUR..... Yang mengkhawatirkan adalah istrinya Budi, sampai saat ini belum sadar, walau kemarin Selasa 14 Nov, sudah mulai menggerakkan tangan dan kaki, sekejap membuka mata, tapi kemudian tidur (=tidak sadar) lagi. Belum bisa berbicara sedikit pun. Dari RS Usada Insani telah dipindahkan ke RS Honoris Tangerang. Telah 2 kali CT Scan, dan diketahui ada pendarahan di otak. Hanya ada 2 pilihan operasi atau menunggu 5 hari dengan segala resikonya. Terpaksa karena dana, dia memilih menunggu!!!!! Entah dimana hati nurani pengendara CRV B 8539 BZ itu, bukti plat nomor masih disimpan, tapi untuk melaporkan kejadian ke polisi, juga tidak ada waktu, karena Budi harus mendampingi istrinya sewaktu-waktu istrinya sadar, dia harus ada di sisi istrinya. Walau terlihat pasrah, kami teman-temannya prihatin, apa yang bisa kami lakukan salah satunya adalah menyebarkan informasi ini, sehingga pengendara mobil itu tau, bahwa pada saat dia kabur, ada oranglain yang sangat menderita.
