The pic I attached was not what came w/ my Arc - just
another choice from Wincomm. I have the ball-n-swivel
type you are talking about - just didn't know the
"official" name!

Yeah, bending the brackets doesn't look great to
customers. I think one customer saw me straining with a
Total and some Vise Grips and thought I was taking a
dump in his back yard.

Subject: Re: [smartBridges] airPoint Total Mounting
Brackets

Do tell? Which Tranzeo unit would that be? The one
Tranzeo I have has *no*
vertical tilt, only horizontal, and you can only attach
it to a pole
.unless you get creative (and hope your customer
doesn't take a close
look at it). I hijacked a ball-n-swivel bracket from
one of my ArcWireless
antennas and drilled holes into it so the Tranzeo would
screw into it.
Works nice, looks nice.

Jason.. my ArcWireless mounts don't look like your pic.
A lot simpler.
Yours looks better (but what the hey, we're sticking
pretty much with
airTotals).

Agreed. The airTOTALS could use a better (stronger,
more versitle)
mounting bracket.

SmartBridges... do you want any closeup photos of the
mounting brackets
we're talking about? I think something like that would
be an excellent
feature.
