Hi All,

We understand that the new units that you have been receiving have problems; this does not particularly indicate to the latest batch could you all please send us an email at [EMAIL PROTECTED] a list of MAC addresses which are not working especially with respect to the latest batch which you have received and also the distributor from where you have purchased them.

With the MAC # of the devices will help us do some tracking with the date of manufacture and also batch of shipment to every distributor.

Looking forward for your email so that we can identify the history of the units

With Best Regards,

Vasu

I also hope they are working on it. It seems to me like unreliable firmware.

Sometimes I can kind of bring the units back to life by re-flashing the

firmware and then using simple deploy on them, but it seems if I have to do

this kind of thing on them, they never really work 100%. One of my airPoint

indoor units which is working fine as a bridge, will not let me do a

firmware update. I can't ping it, and when I log in with the firmware update

it shows the device type as NULL. The reset button on the powershot doesn't

seem to do anything.

I would be much encoraged if smartbridges said what the problem is (Surely

they must know?), and how they are fixing it, and when we can expect it to

improve. I'm starting to look into alternatives, although I really like the

features of smartbridges.

Thanks,

Roger
