The basic answer is none. Don't do it. However, you can experiment with it to help throughput if there is a problem. The idea of fragmentation is that if there is interference it can interupt a long transmission. If you lower the fragmentation threshold, the unit will transmit smaller packets and can make it through the gaps in the interference. If you do lower it, watch the packet failures and lost ACK. If the number goes up, then set it back to normal. If packet loss stays the same or gets better, do a throughput test to see if it speed anything up, if not, set it back to normal.
