I was more interested in the real world receive capabilities than the output power. I have found considerable differences in various radios abilities to actually pass data under less than ideal conditions. The Orinoco cards seems to be able the pass data when other cards drop out. I have found the Smartbridges older airbridge to receive even better than the Orinoco card so I was hoping that the AirCarte would also perform well. Is there any chance of getting AirCarte cards with an external antenna jack in the future?
