I have use a APP total for backhaul to feed an Access point. This APPtotal is aim at my main APP at the NOC.   This Backhaul is feedind a Aopen access point in access point mode.  20 computer pass this Aopen Access Point. going throught the APP total linking to the main APP at the noc.  It works just fine.! My gateway for the Access point is my backhaul IP ( APP total ) ....... It is working... But is this correct. ???  Maybe I should use same gateway(Mikrotik router) on all equipement.     I did the same set up to another site but I have use a Airbridge indoor for the backhaul. & a APP for access point.   However, at this location, client can ping the APP access Point, They can ping the Airbridge backhaul but can't pass the backhaul & ping the main APP at the NOC. But from the NOC, I can ping the backhaul(airbridge) & the APP........ ( I will have to try pinging a client.)     Do I need to change that airbridge backhaul for a APP ????   Is their a firmware for this Airbridge that will let pass the traffic to the NOC ???   Can I upload a APP firmware in the airbridge changing it to a APP ??? ( This question is not for smartbridges.)    The tower is 70 feet & I just install it yesterday.....................I don't feel like climbing again tomorrow.   Do I really have to climb............... If so........ Why is it call a airbridge............. So it will be like creating hub and spoke or mesh environment. So yes you will need to use either sector or omni depending on your need. Second Tower with AP Total Unit The NOC has two T3s for bandwidth.   In Wireless Bridge Mode, I have two submodes.   submode 1is Point-To-Point.  This allows my AP on tower 2 to talk to my AP at my NOC.  submode 2 is Point-to-multipoint.  Correct me if I am wrong on this, but this allows that SAME AP on either tower (they are both in Wireless bridge mode) to be a Access Point for any clients. If clients are inbetween these locations, I have two towers that they can shoot at for service ..    In repeater mode, it is just like using a router once the AP grabs the signal, the APPO grabs the signal from the NOC and then sends it back out for any clients.    Now if I am wrong, which somehow I am assuming that I am, these two modes are VERY identical.    How have I read the information wrong?   Dennis
