hi,
first post.

if arround 150gram is light enough/acceptable, there is lithium poly cell/batt that give you 2100 mah capacity per cell (each 43 grams). Just use 3 cell in series, you will get approx 129 gr, expected worktime will be arround 6 hrs (if usage at 350 ma at 12 V).

I'm using this cells for rc micro helicopter purpose, but I think any lithium ion batt will fit the req.

I am looking at an extremely lightweight solution that I can bring with me
on a rooftop to get just 10 minutes of power from. I am also looking at
some installs in very unusual locations where power won't be anything
conventional. I can make these sources put out what is needed for the AB
with no problem. The length of the parts list will vary greatly depending
on the operational limits of the AB.

I have crunched the numbers on voltage drop and figure the lowest operating
voltage to be about 5V but I would like some solid numbers. If I have to I
will crack open a unit and figure it out myself, but I would rather not.

Please, no lectures on basics of electricity and electronics.
