Shawn & Bobby,

Recently I posted this msg "Trying To Help" to cater for anyone who need
to provide immediate relief to some of the customers who seem to be
suffering quite a bit. To date, we have not received a single request. I
just want to let you know that we have this facility and you can make
use of if there is urgency there so that we can replace you with our
manual screening tested units.

Again, sorry for the issue that you have encountered. Thanks.

I had two APPO's lock up today... one other one someplace is more than
likely dead... Since I haven't seen any go bad in almost two weeks now..
Probably lost a couple of customers because they've had enough of the
'flaky' network.

I have two other AP's that are giving me fits... You can associate to
them... from the routers in back in the NOC you can ping the AP's all
day
w/o a bit of packet loss... you can ping about everything from an
associated
client...

but you can't connect to a single website... the mail servers... any of
the
internal web servers... but you can ping www.yahoo.com all day w/o a
problem.... but I can't go to the website...

Data from the APPO's are being backhauled via trango 5.8 Ghz links.
They
are up and working just fine... only problem I had with them so far is a
power supply fell out of the socket when the strap holding it wasn't put
back...

I've tired resetting the units... doing a factory defaults on them...
reconfig'ing them... but nothing yet... you can still associate to
them...
ping anything and everything... but not go to a single website, or any
other
thing that a customer might actually want to do...

Thanks....I've never messed with preamble....it is currently set to
long. It
stayed up for 20 minutes this time. Just reset the APPO for a third time
and
the clients came back. I'm thinking the APPO is flaking out from the
heat.
It's been in service for three weeks now.

can
ping the APT from the LAN side (but not from the WAN side) but you
cannot
ping past it to the A/P. The APT is in CB mode. Any ideas? Cycled power
several times....no good.

Title: Message

We are investigating recent reports of the high field failure rates. While this is ongoing, we would like to provide immediate relief to some of the customers who seem to be suffering quite a bit. We will send them replacement equipment. We have set up a special screening process, where each radio goes through rigorous manual test to ensure the reliability of operation. We will directly ship these hand tested radios to the people in urgent need and quickly address their frustrations.

Below is the process:

Please complete the RMA form at http://www.smartbridges.com/new/support/rma_enq.php .

We will advise you on the shipping details. Please send back defective units ONLY after receiving RMA approval. We will expedite shipment of the replacement equipment.

Again, we are sorry to hear of any issue you encounter with our products. We are looking at all means to make our product more reliable and stable.

Please use this process only for emergency cases (and mention that in the RMA form description). This will allow us to attend first to those customers in need.

With Best regards,

Alex
