2003 Server is a somewhat more stable Windows platform. But it is still 
nowhere near as stale as NetWare. But then NetWare doesn't run apps. 

Well, it runs some, but most vendors code their apps for Windows.  
Companies rely on the Novell portion of their network for stability and
security, and the Windows parts for user-friendliness and 
'stuff-for-non-technical-folks".
