Pump the antenna up to 12-15db or add a good amp change your polarity to horizontal because it works better over water and is a proven solution to these problems.

I have a number of shots going over water. 5ghz and 2.4ghz. Horizontal
Polarity is your friend in these cases. Also, why are you using such a low
