Title: RE: [smartBridges] New Firmware
Not too much you can do about it in this situation.  When SB brings out the G version that may help since it's supposed to be OFDM which LIKES multipath.

Subject: [smartBridges] Multipath Solutions

I am trying to install an aBO on ch11 with a 9db Maxrad panel in a marina. The tower is about 1.1km away with loads of sailboat masts, apartment buildings and one other WISP on ch01 in the way... no where near clean line-of-sight, but I am still getting a RSSI of 77% and a LQ of 90%. Not bad...

The thing that is bad however is the thru-put... only about 50% of the pings make it there and back. Almost none of the packets longer than a ping make it...

I am guessing I am in multipath hell... anyone know of proven techniques to moderate the effects of multipath?
