Title: RE: [smartBridges] Sector Antenna's
  1. I'm not full of shit, the rain forest must be nice but if you had read before I live in the CARIBBEAN where the air is extremely salty. In fact we have to use extreme measures to water proof our connectors or they get corrosion on them in the first week.
  2.  I am not posting in accurate information in fact in my messages I always state that it has been my experience if I have seen that some people on the list have posted otherwise I state "but others have said differently"
  3. I do not lead people blindly if you would like I will show you a picture of my back room, it's full of old pacwireless, comtelco, hyperlink, superpass, and even some little nokia antennas that we were messing with along with some other miscellaneous brands oh yes, maxrad are in there somewhere too. We have been doing this for a long time before MAN's where even conceptualized of being done wirelessly.
  4. I respect your view of the superpasses but I DO NOT SEE WHY MY VIEW OF THEM causes such an up stir that you need to resort to name calling, in a childish fashion.

If you are going to be arrogant please keep it off the board and don't jump to conclusions about people. If you're a dealer for superpass or something just tell us because I mean eje deals mikrotik and is partial to them but we don't hold it against him in fact he helps us all quite well. But don't come on the list making a suggestion to use superpasses and then as soon as someone makes a negative statement about them you jump to the conclusion that I'm against you or the product. I purely stated that I had a bad experience with them in the past now if this has been fixed more power to them. I only stated my view of when I used them.

It corroded 2 weeks later?

2 weeks?????????????????????????????????????

Now that must defy the laws of physics.

I've been following your threads for some time now.

I have to say this. Your a full of Sh%$it type guy.

The point of these email lists are so that we can all learn from ours and each others  mistakes as well as our success.

there is nothing worse than being lead off a cliff blindfolded.

If anyone is going to post biased inaccurate information they are doing nobody any good.

here's a fact

I live in a rain forest. I have had superpass antennas for 2 years now . I have also experienced superpass antennas that filled with water like fish bowls. and went to other manufacturer's antennas and also found problems. John or xchen found out he had a glue problem and rectified the situation some time ago.

Not all his antennas had problems and none do now. I now use his antennas once again and they work great.

Like I said I have some that are going on 2 years in a rain forest and working flawlessly.

The reason for the hotmail address is because I like my anonaminity.

And the point is you should try being truthful and unbiased so that others who don't have the experience of many of us on these lists can learn accurate information. to make a success of their business investment and endeavors.

As for friends, next time I see you in a lounge, I'll let you buy me a drink

Yes I can vouch for that I had a superpass that we had in testing at a repeater on a 400' hill and came back 2 weeks later because of flaky signal and I changed it out to a comtelco we had in the office when I brought it back and literally cracked it open cause I was bored it was corroded :(
