Is the Eth LED on and that your PC and the device is on the same subnet? Try restore to factory default and if still can't get to ping to default IP 192.168.0.22. Then return to distributor for RMA exchange.
Please note that now our distribution partners are beginning to receive new shipments. You may be able to get replacement units from them. In the event the distributor do not have the spare, we will be happy to cross-ship you replacement units from our factory in Singapore. Please fill up the RMA form http://www.smartbridges.com/new/support/rma_enq.php . Now that I've got the new firmware, I wasn't able to upgrade it from the customer's computer through the Ethernet port...took it down and brought it back to our shop and for a while nothing....and then all of a sudden I was able to view it through simplemonitor and so I upgraded the firmware....two hours later, still not associating with our APPO, and can't even ping it through the Ethernet port. Should I just RMA the sucker...the customer has already paid for the installation and first month service...they asked about a refund and I told them that if I can't get them online in a week, I will refund them their money... That appears to be fixed. I upgraded the same bad unit (here in my lab) and it associated right up and has been up ever since. I have 4 total clients being affected by this problem (losing association) and I just wirelessly upgraded 3 of them. I know...I know...I was supposed to have them unplugged for a while and then do this on the wired side. But hey...the whole point to having a wireless ISP is the ability to "wirelessly" manage it. So...I figured, what the heck. If it works, it saves me a rollout....if it don't, I will just have to downgrade it and roll out there. But...it is working for now. With the wireless FW upgrade, the units appeared to lose association for about 2 seconds and came right back online. I will keep everyone posted on their status over the next few days. BTW...these units were going down (and staying down) about once every 36 hours. It would take a power downtime of 10 minutes to get them back online.
