That is the only way you HAVE to disclose it.. The only people I ever given out IP or phonenumbers (callerid on a account when they dial in) is to law enforcement. Had a girl that got her computer stolen. She contacted us and we informed her we would not give out any information BUT she could inform the officers handling her case that we in fact DID have possible information to locate her computer. Later that day we had a friendly visit from the lawenforcement that got the information for their investigation (how stupid can you get if you steal a computer then to use their dailup connection ????). Next month she came in to pay her bill again and she had gotten her computer back...
