Just so you know...I did not go to another distributor! I don't have mikrotik yet...I am feeling the necessity though...very badly. And you will be, without a doubt, the guy I go to for it!! Why go to a salesman, when you can go to a salesman who knows what the f#$@ he is talking about!?!?! My needs are GREAT though...I need you to configure it so that it does this: 1. Monitors throughput speed. When a user is pulling a download (or upload) at greater than 100kbps, than after 5 minutes, his connection is throttled down to 80kbps. Then 10 minutes later, if he is still at 80 kbps, throttle him down again to 40kbps. 2. When a user hits their monthly cap (1 or 2 gig), then throttle their connection down to 56k (from 1.5 meg). I offer all my clients 1.5 Meg up and back. Unthrottled. That means that I could have a single user suck EVERYTHING! Gotta protect that.
