Hmmmm.
If you run the numbers an 8dB omni right at the
outdoor airpoint pro to a 24dB grid should give you about a 5 mile
cell.
I'd guess that the antenna isn't really putting out
the full output (what coax is feeding it? if it's lmr240 or less you're
loosing a couple more dB or more right there).
How much and what kind of coax at the cpe
side?
I've got a 36dB wpop 16 miles from a customer who's
got an outdoor airbridge with a 24dB grid. Speeds aren't great (60KBps or
so) but plenty for what we're doing there!
