CC> Yes but how do u prioritize or set rules for PORTS I don't see that or mac CC> addresses only for ip prioritization / limiting
You need to mangle the ports or the mac then you can based on the flow mark tag bandwidth limit it. So first mangle with a flow mark (located under firewall rules) then bandwidth limit/prioritize based on the flow mark. CC> as a note the 1100$ is not CC> the router I mean I cud use the micro router from you or build a microtik CC> for cheaper than that LOL or just use 2k3 or any other solution mainly the Sure. Feel free to build a cheaper unit. Nobody is stopping you besides yourself. Yet another one do it yourselfer that will try to fix it himself then when it don't work ask for free help. As for 2k3 wasn't aware that you had bandwidth shaping capabilities in combination with it's routing capabilities nor that you had available dynamic routing in there. CC> microrouter.... the 1100$ is for the amount of radios I would require at CC> 6.99 to redo my entire clientbase with routers. (Which at same time I would Ok. Why should you pay for the clients router ? Not even the telco or the cable co anywhere that I'm aware of will do that. they might provide the DSL or cable modem but that is it. If you want multiple computers online and don't want to pay for additional IPs then you get a router yourself at your cost. It's your business not mine so you can do whatever you want but to me it don't sound right. Something wrong with the tele and lucent clients ? If not I wouldn't even bother. At current point they probably are more stable then most of the newer sB units that are coming out. I thought the new sB line was not going to be compatible with the current sB line ? Am I wrong there ? CC> More info on the use of queues if possible eje, can you email me off forum CC> so we don't tie up sb's forum Since others shown interested to the queues in this forum I'll just post it to the forum besides I have a question above in regards to sB so not even off topic.
