If you have WinXP or Win2000, you can assign yourself one static IP from each of the 3 subnets. Make the primary IP address your normal (most frequently used) city. Then, in the Advanced tab add your other two cities as secondary IP Addresses to your NIC card. Should work out for you.

Hi all,

How do you do roaming? All my towers have a FreeBSD router with different
subnet.

I want to drive all around 3 cities I cover with an omni on the top of my
car. The problem is when I roam to a new tower, I have to change the IP on
my laptop to be able to get back on my network cause my router have
different subnet on all my towers.

I thought about a DHCP server to give me a different IP when I roam but It
will cause all my software to disconnect and re-connect and I don't want
that.

Any of you have suggestions?

Thanks
