I don't know of anything off the top of my head. I do remember that
reefedge was developing something called Dolphin and if I remember correctly
you could load it on a unix system. You can go to their site and see what
you can find on it. You just need to remember that I also do know that
their connect servers and edge controllers will not work with SB client
products.

Do you know a good free software for FreeBSD that will let me do the same
thing as products from reefedge?

Thanks

Eric

Another great thing about reefedge. Seemless roaming. It will even
maintain an IPSec tunnel as you roam.

Subject: [smartBridges] Roaming with router

Hi all,

How do you do roaming? All my towers have a FreeBSD router with different
subnet.

I want to drive all around 3 cities I cover with an omni on the top of my
car. The problem is when I roam to a new tower, I have to change the IP on
my laptop to be able to get back on my network cause my router have
different subnet on all my towers.

I thought about a DHCP server to give me a different IP when I roam but It
will cause all my software to disconnect and re-connect and I don't want
that.

Any of you have suggestions?

Thanks

Eric Grenier
