I think that is what my tech meant.  When I asked him about it again, he said they weren't really bigger, just brighter, they just looked different from the other ones.  The only reason I mentioned it is that it might be an indication that they were from a different lot, or manufacturing run.  I used to be a manufacturing engineer for Apple so am familiar with how the whole process works.  You don't generally change vendors in the middle of a run, so having different LEDs might indicate that they were from a different time period.  And then again, it may mean nothing, we are only talking about LEDs here, so they could have hundreds of thousands of them from several different vendors all mixed in the same stores bin.

Anyway, I am just glad they are responding to the issues and sending out replacement units.  All I want is for my system to stay up and my customers to be taken care of.

Thanks to all for your help and suggestions,

Gloria

I have seen that different colored LED's not colors but... tones and they just look different on some of the outdoors didn't notice any other difference.

I will have to remember to send a camera up the water tower with my tech the
next time he goes up to reset one (or more) of them, which will probably be
in the next 12 - 24 hours.  The only one we have that is different is the
only one working and it is on the water tower.  I don't have any spares -
the only one I have that is not installed is the one I pulled down Thursday
night that was locking up.

I am appreciative of the support smartBridges seems to be giving me - and
allowing me to RMA directly to them, but I haven't had time today to fill
out four RMA forms with all the questions about what testing I have or
haven't done, the invoice number (which I have to go back through paperwork
to find), etc., etc.  Why can't they just send us advance replacements for
the bad ones then we can do the paperwork after we take the bad ones out of
service?

Sorry, I really don't like to bitch and complain, it is a waste of energy.
But I am fighting a battle here and seem to be losing..........

Thanks to all for your help and support,
Gloria
