That's what I've been doing for years. The past year I have removed all but 2 of my customers amps. And when I get another couple micro pops up they will be gone too.
Amps on the customer ends can cause some pretty strange things to happen.

Avoid use of Amp like plague.
We have installed about 120 Amps in the past 5 years. A well designed setup will not sufer from the addition of an Amp On the contrary the benefits are multiple.

We have seen all kinds of strange things go on in the system. When the operator removes the Amps and make proper use of directional antennas, things improve and network becomes stable.

Quick question: If you have a 3-way splitter into 3 sector antennas and 1 APPO, is the quality improved by removing the splitter and using 3 APPOs? Is this the receive quality or transmit quality or both?
