I plan on using one of these at another POP or at my main one and using both
radios one for each sector This is a great setup from what I can see I just
down want to have to keep a whole spare when I could keep just a single
radio card ;-)

Thank you for your suggestion, this may be the idea for the next
generation product. In X02, you can configure one radio to be in standby
mode just incase the primary one goes bad.

The only problem I see with a unit like this is if one goes bad you have
to
replace the while unit. That was the COOL feature about the AP-1000 or
Ap-2000 is you had separate radio cards you could slide in or out
depending
on what you wanted to do or if one went bad you simply replaced it not
the
whole unit.

You might want to look into something like that in the future saves time
and
less of a hassles for both parties!

The XO2 will have 2 radios and thus 2 external connector. You can set
this up as repeater,

If this is an aPPT with an external jack, that would be SWEET. That
is...IF it has 2 radios in it.

I would love to use the aPPT to shoot back to my head-end, then come out
of it to an external sector PANEL at my repeater locations. Would save
me from having to mount 2 radios.

I have been asking for this since they FIRST came out with the
"repeater" idea in one box.

I did see the new aPPo with 2 external antenna jacks with 2 internal
radios...but that would require 2 antennas. Still a good solution...but
for ease, I would like to just mount one radio (box) and one antenna.

sB...is that what this customer has in hand??

I haven't seen any of those, yet. That doesn't mean that we don't have
them. It just means I haven't seen it, yet. The only reason I asked if
you had bought it from us, was that if you had, I was ready to swap the
unit for you to do what you wanted if necessary.

I would agree. If it has a connector, you should be able to nail
another antenna to it. I might suspect that you would need to go to the
advanced tab in SimpleMonitor and select the antenna port, though, to
re-route your RF to the correct antenna.

Hi Kevin. No I didn't buy the APPT from you.

This is one of the newer units and it has an external antenna jack. The
documentation says " .... Using a high gain external Omni / Directional
antennas, it can provide range of upto 32 Kilometers and provides data
rates
upto 11Mbps ... " so I am assume that using an external antenna along
with
the integrated antenna is fine.
