The normal cause for this is that the primary port is not set correctly.  Here is how it should be set for the link below.

dhcp server - switch - appo (backhaul) appo - switch - appo - abo

                      ethernet        wireless        ethernet - wireless

The default setting for an APPO is ethernet.  The default setting for an ABO is wireless.  The second APPO from the DHCP server is probably the culprit.  Change it from the default ethernet to wireless and you should be OK.

The primary port is what the unit uses to look for DHCP.  Just follow the chain and you should see how it works.

I've got several hours fighting this same thing.. Just upgraded the

firmware.. Am going to use a packet sniffer at the switch and see what I

see there... I am still in the setup stage for a new POP and the gear is

all in the office setup as follows:

dhcp server - switch - appo (backhaul) appo - switch - appo - abo

I'm going to use the sniffer in the second switch and see if the packets

are making it that far.. I can see the DHCPDISCOVER and DHCPOFFER at the

first switch, so I know the request is making it to the dhcp server, and

it's sending an address..
