Heh, Well at WISPCON we actually showed a case like what you describe to SmartBridge tech's (our cisco's were showing a DHCP lease IP as associated when all our AirBridge CPE's are staticly mapped to a different subnet).
What was interesting is we would fail login one to two times, but as we were trying, the Association on the AP actually changed its IP to the static IP.. when this happened then we could login... I think its a compatibility issue with Cisco (our AP's) and the way the CPE's due MAC substitution... We are going to try an AP Pro as a client bridge CPE (since its doesn't do that MAC substition stuff, but acts transparently...) and see if this fixes that issue. Would be worth the extra money not to have that issue raise its face... Boy, we did the 11 MBps auto negotiation for the airwaves issue, you all have us wondering about setting that down since we do have some interference issues.. Scared top try... One thing that has helped allot is that witrh the Cisco AP's we were able to put in filters on ports and we started filter NetBios on the AP's.. it appears to have helped allot.. (Did it on one problem AP, may try it on more shortly..)
