One additional thing.  Hate to keep responding to the same thing but because Martin & Steve seem to be extremely frustrated I find myself wanting to try and help.    Your e-mail states you are having trouble downloading.  Is browsing fine?   The reason I dropped my connection rates down to be no more than 2Mps was due to the fact that downloads were extremely unreliable.  I could browse all day without a problem but...  Go to www.toast.net and run their performance test.  Watch the LQ on the client bridge via SimpleMonitor while the test is running.  If you see the LQ dropping to zero, coming back up, dropping to zero, coming back, so on and so forth I am pretty confident that forcing the connections to a slower rate will fix the problem.  The AP is a shared resource so if an individual user is having a problem it can have a negative affect on all.   I discovered this during the intial testing, driving aroung in my truck with a power inverter and antenna on the topper.  I am glad I did this initial testing because had I not I would have a major mess on my hands right now and when a problem starts up with live customers on,  the fix always seem to become more complex when it rwally is not.  The heat of the moment causes the complexity. ----- Original Message ----- From: Derek Breiland To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, October 28, 2003 10:17 PM Subject: Re: [smartBridges] Slow down problems The toehr thing, as it was mentioned in a differnet reply earlier, are you using 18VDC power supplies?  Are the AP's lacking the power they need? ----- Original Message ----- From: Blazen Wireless To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, October 28, 2003 5:17 PM Subject: [smartBridges] Slow down problems We give up! We cant add any more users to our system total of 60 split between 2 APPO's 30 each at max. Why would just idle radios associated to the APPO have such a bad effect on the APPO?   I have 6 users ready to cancel due to the crappy service I am getting from these radios I don't understand how someone else claims 60 plus users on ONE APPO and they are fine? what speeds are you offering what are your settings on the APPO and the clients associated to it.
