I have the same problems I cant seem to get more out of them I don't know what's wrong I have tired all the RTS settings all the firmwares everything that SB has to offer and still cant get it to work. FYI how many users do you have on each one? this sounds exactly the same setup I am running I have 30 on each radio with all kinds of latency problems when multiple users are on. Pings go thru the roof and throughput really goes to hell. They claim the new XO series is more robust we shall see.

Subject: [smartBridges] Throughput Issues

I recently installed 4 AirPoint Pro AP's that replaced 2 Orinoco AP-2000.  I have 4 90 degree sector antennae on top of a water tower.  I was getting throughput to the clients at a peak of 2.5 Mpbs with the Orinoco's.  I am only getting a peak of about 1.6 Mpbs with the AP Pro's on each of the sectors.  I am using Linksys Wet11's and had no problems with them.  I changed to the APPro's due to the Orinoco's resetting themselves when overloading which was causing my clients to lose their associations.

I have made changes to RTS/CTS with little changes to performance.  The number of clients associated to each AP ranges from 10 to 40, but there seems to be no difference in throughput, so it is not just the 40 client AP that is underperforming.  All of the AP's go into a switch which then goes to my Packetshaper, and on to my router.
