Hey mikrotik fan, My PPPOE is OK, but my hotspot will only let you in if you have a static IP. If lan card is set to DHCP, it won't pass traffic.
Also, Can I run Hotspot on more than one interface ??? Usually I setup a pppoe server on a interface and on the same interface I setup the hotspot server that way if someone don't run pppoe they can still be able to get on and I will be able to control my users in a secure way (or you will be able to). Keep in mind not everything available in MikroTik is GPLed software that you can download and install they have written any things completely from scratch because the other open source things out there have poor functionality at best.
