Title: Untitled Document
Well the only problem is that he is a customer of another WISP that uses all internal PCI cards for installs. He has spoken with them about getting an  external CPE/Bridge but all they will offer is something in the $700-$800. The cost would be passed on to my friend. So I mentioned that there are several options for 802b bridges that are more cost effective. I am just trying to find him something that will work with the Leap authentication. I would like to help him find something that he could just replace the PCI card without having to mess with his wisp. They are not very cooperative sometimes. So he definitely needs something that will work with Leap and maybe something with MAC cloning.

Thanks,
Chadd

I think you would at that point need to use RADIUS for the leap part and authenticate by MAC.  At that poin the client has nothing to do with leap other than its MAC.

Subject: [smartBridges] SB and Cisco AP

Does anyone know if a SB ABO or APPO will work with a cisco AP using the leap authentication? If so how do you put in the user name and password for the leap?

Sorry for asking such a silly question but I have never used either SB or Cisco, but I had a friend who was asking me if this would work.

Thanks,
Chadd
