Manfred It took me only a couple of months to track down the right person ....
His answer: You can find the attributes for E1, E8, and E9 in the Intel_SSD_Toolbox_User_Guide located at www.intel.com/go/ssdtoolbox (and I have no idea since when these infos are available) If you need more infos I probably could connect you to an expert now that I found him Happy hacking Michael -----Original Message----- From: Manfred Schwarb [mailto:manfre...@gmx.ch] Sent: Saturday, October 24, 2009 6:57 AM To: Hebenstreit, Michael Cc: smartmontools-database@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: Re: [Smartmontools-database] Intel(r) X25-E Extreme SATA Solid-State Drive Hi Michael! I just added the three attribute id's to smartmontools. Unfortunately, the above document is not accessible for mere mortals, as one has to be "enrolled in an Intel program", whatever this means. Could to please confirm, that the remaining attributes as listed in "smartctl -a" for your drive are correct? As these things are more or less vendor specific, we need the appropriate attribute meanings from vendor specs resp. information. And if the raw attribute values are coded in some special way, this information would be very helpful, too.
