Hello.

Really not sure what to do about this.

After shutting down a server, on restart, a number of KVM based VMs that
were previously running just fine are now not starting up. But not all the
KVMs are the same, 2 are running.

I've restarted the server a few times, with no luck. I've tried to start
the KVMs a few times, again no luck. I just get an error message -

Unable to start VM c972de99-c811-4806-bbc2-186b1efe4181: timed out waiting
for zone to transition to running

What's really annoying me is that even when I try to boot into the VM using
a bootable ISO, as below -

# vmadm boot c972de99-c811-4806-bbc2-186b1efe4181 order=cd,once=d
cdrom=/ubuntu-14.04-mini.iso,ide
Unable to start VM c972de99-c811-4806-bbc2-186b1efe4181: timed out waiting
for zone to transition to running

But I still get the timeout error. And the log files under
/zones/<ZONE_ID>/root/tmp/vm.log {1-9} are all empty.

Any help on how I can troubleshoot or fix this issue would be greatly
appreciated!

Thanks very much in advance.

Sam.
