No, I have not customized SmartOS in any way. It is stock as it comes from 
Joyent.
The only difference is that I am now booting it via pxegrub, and that it's the 
version
above, whereas I booted the old (2012-December-something) version from the
USB stick. The USB stick version from December 2012 did not emit this message.
