Attila,
Thanks for the expedient test results.  The solution will likely
involve moving the remaining pieces of epoll in-kernel. That should
solve the issue on both LX and native SmartOS. I've opened OS-4695
(https://smartos.org/bugview/OS-4695) to track progress.
