Hi Peter,
I think it’s a great idea to put all these detailed configurations on the “work for me” page:https://wiki.smartos.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=755673 The harewares on that page seems a little out of date :) Original Message Sender:Peter [email protected] Recipient:[email protected] Date:Tuesday, Sep 8, 2015 07:12 Subject:Re: [smartos-discuss] SmartOS on latest Supermicro Haswell based servers One more to add Supermicro6028R-E1CR12L works great too has 12x 3.5" bays and 2x2.5". To be honest I struggled to find a server which didn't work with SmartOS, trialed a number of re-purposed IBM servers with wildly different HW components/generations all worked so far. The only non compatible component I came across was a 10G Mellanox Nic. Hope this helps. I find your discussion and am very curious about your testing result. Would you mind sharing the detailed configuration about the compatible server?
