Hi all,

I'm trying to configure small load-balancer based on vrrp and haproxy. I
started in smartos wiki (
https://wiki.smartos.org/display/DOC/Managing+NICs#ManagingNICs-AddingVRRPnicstoVMs
).

HW: older HP DL380g7, 4 on-board NICs (bnx0-3, btw - what' type is that?)
global zone has just admin_nic.
payload is same as on wiki page, just nic_tag is admin.
When zone is created I have inet 0.0.0.0 in zone:
# ifconfig
lo0: flags=2001000849<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4,VIRTUAL> mtu 8232
index 1
inet 127.0.0.1 netmask ff000000
net0: flags=10201000842<BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4,CoS,VRRP> mtu 1500
index 2
inet 0.0.0.0 netmask 0
ether 0:0:5e:0:1:64

I've tried exactly same payload file on second server - small Fujitsu, 2
NICs (e1000g, igb) and it worked without any problem.

What should I check? Could it be somehow hardware/driver related?

Thank you,
tom
