> HW: older HP DL380g7, 4 on-board NICs (bnx0-3, btw - what' type is that?)
bnx(7D) is the Broadcom NetXtreme II gigabit EtherNet device driver. The bnx manual page contains more detail. hp DL380 G7 is certified to support Solaris 10 u8 and onwards, according to this page: http://h17007.www1.hp.com/us/en/enterprise/servers/supportmatrix/solaris.aspx#.VnU1O9UVmAl > I've tried exactly same payload file on second server - small Fujitsu, 2 NICs > (e1000g, igb) and it worked without any problem. Those are completely different network adapters, namely intel's, so they utilize different drivers, e1000g(7D) and igb(7D). ------------------------------------------- smartos-discuss Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/184463/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/184463/25769125-55cfbc00 Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=25769125&id_secret=25769125-7688e9fb Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
