Hi,
I have upgraded my server with latest smartos release. I am booting it with
a UBS stick.
Here I am facing problems with creating db files in nfs mounted drive.
I have made 2 zones. Shared a directory of zone 1 from global zone. Mounted
that directory into zone 2 on my mount point. After mounting , my mount
point directory's user and group changes to nobody:nobody, as follows-
Eg-
drwxrwxrwx 2 nobody nobody 2 Mar 14 12:14 MOUNT_POINT
Any directoty or file created in it also get same ownership - nobody:nobody
Eg.
total 1
-rw-r--r-- 1 nobody nobody 0 Mar 18 09:59 a
-rw-r--r-- 1 nobody nobody 0 Mar 18 09:59 s
I also cannot create any .db files using my sqlite3. It fires me error like
this -
# node ./test.js
events.js:72
throw er; // Unhandled 'error' event
^
Error: SQLITE_BUSY: database is locked
I fire this outside my mounted drive, it works.
I was not facing this problem in previous smartos version I was using.
Any idea why is it so.
Please give me some guidance as soon as possible. I am stuck.
Info: I have checked nfs version. It is nfs4. Also found in some links that
nfs4 have bugs. It my problem due to it?
