My reading tells me that as of kernel 2.6.33 write barriers are implemented correctly in which case, could I assume that it would be safe to use LVM?
Now, I know that RHEL/CentOS backport many kernel upstream fixes/features but, so far, I can't find any categoric evidence that the LVM write barriers have been brought back into the current CentOS 6 kernel. :-/ ------------------------------------------- smartos-discuss Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/184463/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/184463/25769125-55cfbc00 Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=25769125&id_secret=25769125-7688e9fb Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
