Maybe it is something related to apic? (Well, and what is apic?)

More than one time, starting the vm, from VNC I've seen a message like
"acpi, kernel panic, not syncing, try to pass noacpi to kernel", more or
less.
So, as suggested by such message, I have added "noacpi" to the kernel
line in the grub menu.

 kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.18-348.18.1.el5 ro root=/dev/vda2 noacpi

Removing "noacpi", now I'm using rsync without any issue for a while.
However, without this option, sometimes, as soon as linux boot up, the
vm throws a kernel panic complaining something related to acpi.
Then I must issue a vmadm stop UUID -F, afterwards the vm boots without
problems.

What do you think?

And what options are good to pass to the kernel line? (nousb? nodmraid?)

Thank you
A
