I threw a Samsung 840pro in my box because I had one, but have ordered a
3700. However, I'm not seeing any improvement when I test in the Linux VM
with bonnie++.

I'm wondering if my SLOG device is even being used. I added with with the
command: zpool add zones log <slog device>

Did you add the entire SSD as the SLOG or a partition?

I'm curious if there is a way to test if the SLOG is working. I remember
doing this quite awhile ago on another box, but I can't remember the
command.

Thanks,

Greg
