We generally recommend against distributed file systems due to the
operational complexity and the CAP-related challenges that they present.
This is not dissimilar to how we suggest, operationally, that one
doesn't use centralized storage.

How do you expect your VMs to interact with it? Does it require fuse?
Some VFS kernel module? Something else? Keep in mind, that it's not
supported to use non-local storage for the primary backing store of any VM.

With any complicated system, particularly these distributed file
systems, you should make sure that you have a plan for how to debug them
when things go wrong -- they will go wrong (eg.
