the team made some RCA progress here: we trigger the reset during mac_start(), when the driver is writing to offset 0xc (BGE_APE_EVENT) in register-set 2 (APE). This all happens in bge_ape_send_event(). On sut112 the toxic address is 0xffffff42601fe00c.
