vmadm create frequently times out when new VMs are generated in a row.
The symptoms are varying, /var/svc/log/system-smartdc-metadata:default.log says

f0da5188-57f7-4edf-86ea-b8f69a234576","time":"2016-03-23T15:20:04.604Z","v":0} system-smartdc-metadata:default.log:{"name":"metadata","hostname":"smart04","pid":3721,"brand":"kvm" ,"zonename":"f0da5188-57f7-4edf-86ea-b8f69a234576","level":50,"err":{"message":"read ECONNREFUSED","name":"Error","stack":"Error: read ECONNREFUSED\n at

   ECONNREFUSED","time":"2016-03-23T15:20:05.603Z","v":0}

In the qemu_$uuid log I found

   === OUTPUT (2016-03-29T10:54:32Z) ===
   kvm_set_tss_addr: m
   kvm_init_tss: unable to set tss addr
   could not initialize KVM, will disable KVM support
   Unable to find x86 CPU definition

and on another invocation

qemu_mlock: have only locked 881655808 of 3146776576 bytes; still trying...

About 50 % of the RAM is reported as free:

Any idea what the cause of this could be?

Thanks in advance,
