I've seen such a behavior ~3 years IIRC on SXC as well as S11 (as well
as if snoop is running, IF passes wrong/[un]tagged VLAN pakets). It got
fixed in 11.1 SRU 7.5.

Can't lookup the details, since the shitty MOS crap seems to have memory
holes beside other brain damaged behavior, but if IIRC, for some ppl the
problem was the non-standard MTU size (but not for our env). We used at
this time ixgbe, but I think it was reproducible with igbe as well.
Never got an answer wrt. what was the real problem (just that it has been
resolved), but my guts say, that it was basically aggr impl. related ...
