2016Q1 updated to clang 3.8.0 which has significant changes over 3.7.0, and I've not had time yet to port forward the large number of patches required to get it working on illumos. I'm also somewhat wary of having to do it all over again the next time they make large internal changes. Is there anything you specifically need clang for? Realistically it's going to be a long time before it reaches parity with GCC for illumos support, and we certainly have no plans to use it by default. In the meantime, it's quite possible you can just install the 2015Q4 package directly, e.g. for x86_64: $ pkg_add https://pkgsrc.joyent.com/packages/SmartOS/2015Q4/x86_64/All/clang-3.7.0.tgz Cheers, -- Jonathan Perkin - Joyent, Inc. - www.joyent.com ------------------------------------------- smartos-discuss Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/184463/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/184463/25769125-55cfbc00 Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=25769125&id_secret=25769125-7688e9fb Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
