Hi,
I was trying to run SmartOS on a Google Compute Engine instance and it
got *amazingly* close. The sticking point is that the kernel needs ring
indirect descriptors
(https://github.com/xl0/solaris-virtio/blob/master/vioblk.c#L605) and
GCE doesn't support them. Are these descriptors something that could
become un-necessary with some care?
