Just curious because a quick glance at the thread didn't seem to mention it -
what are the chipsets and/or the device IDs of the BCM interfaces in question?
If it can't be immediately addressable, it would be good to know for future
reference at least.
The output of 'prtconf -d /dev/<interface>' would suffice.
